I'm So Excited, Miss Mustard Seed Posted About My Painting.... !

I am so excited because Miss Mustard Seed featured my cow painting today on her blog.   And, i guess the best part of all is that she really really loves the painting.  I never know for sure when i do a painting for someone if they are really  going to like it or not until they actually see it, so I was really a little nervous...
But she totally did, and oh my gosh she named her Eulalie!  How cute and perfect is that!

Of course I would love it if I could sell thousands of prints of her, so then i could finally get my ( insert really bad word here) car inspected because no matter what i do THE ENGINE LIGHT won't go off...!

and then pay off my mortgage so that when i get older than i am even now, which is old as ( insert the worst word you're comfortable with here)  i won't be living in the homeless shelter...

and it would be even more cool if i could afford to rent a little beach cottage for a week each summer, and maybe have an old pink Cadillac with cream leather interior,  and send my kid off to college so that he dosen't live with me and Mr. Fracturedfairytale until he is 30...

and the most cool thing of all would be if i would quit having anxiety attacks about everything, because i can't drive to my fantasy beach cottage in my fantasy pink Cadillac if i get panic attacks every time i go somewhere..
but i don't think money will fix that...   oh well...

The end...

I can't wait to see more of your beautiful work! (I don't know too much about the mechanics of a blog) but I've seen blogs with tabs under the header leading to pages. Maybe you could post pictures of all your paintings in one spot to admire?
I have a beautiful pet cow named Johnny. He'd look handsome with all of yours ;)

  5. I linked over from Miss Mustard Seed's blog. It's been a long time since a painting grabbed at my heart like this one does. What a gift you have....the detailing on his little eyelashes. Oh be still my heart!!!!

Your sense of humor with all the plates you are carrying is very refreshing and inspiring.

Here's to pink cadillacs and beach houses. Some dreams do come true...just keep believing and don't give up on them! Xo, Sue

  14. I totally could see you starring in a Reality TV show! It would be about this amazing artist that is practically starving and having all these financial dilemmas and all she wants to do is paint! Throw in a few panic attacks and a pain in the butt son and you have a magical hit winning series! And lots of money!!
I really could see this...anyway, I love the cow. You know that. It is so great that you are getting some recognition for your talents.

  17. I see Cherry is from Savannah too! That makes two huge fans in Savannah, so I'm sure you should feature some work in one of our wonderful art galleries downtown. I can assure you they'd sell out.
Miss Mustard Seed is so lucky to have this hanging in her home, I am way beyond jealous

  18. It's a beautiful painting and Eulalie looks great in Miss Mustard Seed's family room. We all wish we could wave our fairy wands and magically have a painting by wonderful YOU and then fulfill all your dreams, starting with the car. It's sad, but my wand doesn't work worth squat! Instead I will buy a lottery ticket and think of you shld I win the BIG ONE, and then all your wishes can come true too, and I will have one (or more!) of your fantabulous paintings. All the best, Patty/BC

  19. Your paintings are absolutely amazing! I'm saving my pennies for a cow! Maybe a floral! It doesn't matter your work is to die for! You are truly blessed with talent. You are going to look fabulous in your pink caddy, top down rockin to Aretha Franklins song "Pink Cadillac"!

  27. Cindy - your cow turned out amazing!!!!!!! I want one now! Also, I can't remember if I wrote this you to you already or not (my brain is working at about 5% these days...) but that comment you left on my blog about capturing how "precious and heavenly a little girl can be, with tousled hair, and a little kissy mouth... grubby and earthy... and at the same time like a fairy or butterfly" completely touched me. You write so beautifully and put into words what I never can! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!
