Hollyhock


Can you even believe how beautiful and amazing this Hollyhock bloom is.  With it's transluscent petals, and twirls and ruffles. Absolute perfection...

    Love love love this! I never seen Hollyhocks this colour. Mine were always red but i perfer the pink!!

    Thanks for stopping by to visit today. I love the ruffled look of this hollyhock...they are one of my favorites.

    The dark pink flowers in the photos are called "rose campion" and are really easy to reseed. The white ones are "feverfew". They probably both have common names, but I don't know them. The feverfew were in the bouquet with the white roses that she gave me in a couple posts back.

    I LOVE hollyhocks and that one is gorgeous! :)
    Thank you so much for your sweet words about my laundry room, your comment made me smile. :) I just LOVE that little room and I don't even mind doing laundry in there now....it's calm and peaceful. (and girly!) lol I wish it was in a magazine, how neat would that be?! (or on the Nate Berkus show..now that would be cool!)

    Hollyhocks are one of my favorite kinds of flowers. First time I planted them, I thought they were annuals, and the next year I ripped them out when they started sprouting thinking they were weeds. Bummer! That is a gorgeous color for a hh. love that.
