All Dressed Up For The Holidays

I love this rusty iron cherub. She is one of the first things you see when you walk in my house, right on the kitchen counter!

How to Mistreat your Windows, learned from the notorius and famous Nester at "thenester.com"

these are just fabric pinned on a rod, fringe pinned on the fabric, and the bottom fabric is tacked to the wall with little nails... oh yeah and there is a mistreated chair in the photo too!, i'm so bad...
below is just a canvas dropcloth $9.00, and some clippy things, around $6.00, and some burlap ribbon my friend gave me....

Nester at " thenester.com " one of the funnest bloggers in the world is doing an ebook about window mistreatments, which is stuff that we lazy ladies do to our windows to dress them up... which doesn't involve lots of money, time, or patience. My windows are so mistreated that i'm pretty sure it's illegal. they are pinned together, nailed up or clipped on. No hundreds of dollars and lining...or interior decorators... no jillion dollar a yard fabric....No sewing or anything... so, here are some photos i'm submitting to be one of the worst window mistreaters in the world... i'm so proud....

Starting to Decorate for Christmas

A New Painting

I'm pretty sure i'm finished with her,... If you can still get your hands on a painting, it's rarely finished, sometimes you just have to stop...

My Friend Says Silk Flowers are Tacky, But I Decided to Like Them Anyway

Love this Chair !

This shade of pink is so easy on the eyes.... and what a precious little birdie from my friend's shop "Spruce Antiques" in Hillsborough. Here is one of the few smaller paintings I did of some wildflowers, sitting right smack in the middle of an amazing old oval frame....
