I'm, gonna keep this blog post short, so ya'll won't hate me for my previous unendingly long ADHD posts!
Just finished this new painting.... She is a very very shabby sheep
It was my first time painting on wood which was kind of different... (except for plywood when i couldn't afford canvases )
anyway this was way nicer than painting on plywood... ;)
ok, that's all I'm gonna say
... you didn't expect that did you...
neither did I
I've already thought about 10 other things i want to ramble about, but resisted the urge
love to you
...the end...
Oh I just love her!!! Fabulous - makes me feel all warm and cozy just looking at her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting!!
ReplyDeleteShe is so shabby sweet! Will be sharing your cottage dressed in a pink Christmas? Oh I do hope so. xxo
ReplyDeleteYou always make me giggle when you write, you should be writing a novel Cindy, I think you would be great at it. I love your sheep and imagine painting on wood was very difficult, was it really smooth wood? I love how you have softened the faces of the sheep in the background...really gorgeous I am sure you will sell it very quickly.

ReplyDeleteI love the wood thing, you know that wood is all I paint on be it anything I place paint to. There is something so perfectly perfect when an artist paints on wood, so very humbling is it not.
Love your heard here.

ReplyDeleteum don't you know that we are here because of the rambles....so please try not to conform to anything else. Because that would be so sad. We love you and your lovely paintings. xoxo
ReplyDeleteCindy, I love Marley and I adored his namesake. Your pillow is so pretty, what a sweet and thoughtful daughter. That lip painting is very cool too. I've worked with gold leaf before and it is tricky but boy is it pretty when it's done. Please never change the way you write, reading your post is just as joyful as looking at your amazing art.
