Isn't it Fabulous!

The wisteria is in bloom!

I just walk right out into the parking lot at work
and go straight to the fence where it is dripping in purple and violet
and i bury my face in the soft scented flowers....

doesn't everyone do that?

and that's all there is to my little story about wisteria

...the end...

  3. We have melting snow-had 18" here in the White Mountains of AZ on Sunday and Monday.I want to plant some wisteria so that I can see them in real life instead of just in photos! They're so gorgeous (along with roses, lavender, lilacs, violets, and peonies).

  5. love the Wisteria-- ours is blooming but not big like last year... the Husband pruned it one day back in January... yes! what was he thinking? Probably something like "wow, this bush is huge it needs a trim, I'll do that now"

then the conversation went something like this... 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE WISTERIA?"... I think I blacked out.
I don't remember much else. I try not to think about it. Then I go outside and see my poor little wisteria... almost naked of flowers.

I does have a few. But seriously, I keep telling myself,
Yard work done poorly, still blesses the home.

    Oh, sorry.
    Your wisteria looks lovely!

    Happy Spring!

  12. I had a wisteria at my old house for about 7 years. It never ever bloomed. The seventh year of having it we moved and sure enough it bloomed like crazy!!!
The new owners tore off the old porch so that was the end of my beautiful wisteria!

  14. I love Wisteria. I live in Alberta Canada and just purchased a new variety that says it will survive in zone 4. We are a zone 3 to 4 depending on the micro climate area in your yard. I am hoping that it has survived the winter.

  15. I LOVE wisteria! Loved it so much that 30 years or so ago I planted a wisteria to grow up my parents english tudor home~with a very grand front porch~I had admired a wisteria that draped a neighbors porch with stunning blooms each spring...well it grew like wildfire but never flowered while we lived there...finally after the sale of the house it had overgrown the front porch and started flowering just like in a magazine! Its was gorgeous and everything I imagined it to be....but alas those owners sold to someone who came in and ripped it out~and that was the end of my vision of the wisteria covered childhood home....argh!!!

  20. My neighbor has beautiful wisteria and if I buried my face in it, I would be stung by about 52 bees! Next time you go to work, put a pair of scissors in your purse and snip a few flowers to take home...
