Ok, Let me be perfectly clear... I DID NOT choose the bathroom/laundry room paint color. It was here when we moved in, and I've just worked with it for now. The fact is, it's actually kind of so awful that it's good. The bathroom is tiny and dark, and boy oh boy does this green brighten it up and give it a kind of gardeny feel. Green is a color for growth and healing, so i try to think of it like that, for now anyway...
And Ta Da! This is the mirror in the shocking green bathroom... try not to be blinded by the greenness!
Painting a gold mirror really seems to be one of those instant gratification kind of things, they almost always look better.... and you can find old gold framed mirrors everywhere for practically nothing.
You are so funny!! I love that colour green and have always wanted a laundry room that exact colour!!
ReplyDeleteThe mirror looks fabulous and you can find old gold framed mirrors practically for nothing everywhere but here on Vancouver Island!!! To think of all the ones I passed up on when i lived in Eastern Canada!!
Painting it white makes it so much prettier !Makes the details look like lace .
ReplyDeleteOk, this may sound strange, but I like that color. It seems very fresh and happy. Funny thing is I am working in my laundry room too!!! I hope to post this week and share the transformation. I think your mirror is awesome, by the way!

ReplyDeleteHa... I'm an instant gratification girl, too. The white really brought out the detail in the mirror! Very pretty! I actually like the green. I would leave it for a touch of fun and whimsy!
XO,
Michelle
