Poor poor Mr. Fractured Fairy Tale, Look at the perfect hell I had planned for him tonight. Holding up a chandelier all over the house. Sooooooo... I know it's more traditional to hang the chandelier in the dining room, but... I'm kinda dying to put it in the kitchen, they're right across from each other, that counter you see in the photo divides the kitchen and the little dining area. The electrician is coming tomorrow right after work, and i really don't think he's gonna be to happy if i make him "hold it up for me one more time" ... where should i hang it?? I CAN'T DECIDE .... HELP!

ReplyDeleteWell I like it over the table personally. Do you ever use the fan in the kitchen? If not then I would add one there later on...but a chandy over a table is so pretty. One can never have too many.
ReplyDeleteWell, Mrs fractured fairy tale. :))) Over the table looked great. Ah, a tad traditonal. I like things to be different so in the kitchen looked quite unique to me, and I liked the look better. Your blog is so enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Rosemary...X
I'm torn about the placement. It looks great over the table, but that's expected. Is the fan going? I'd probably do the unexpected and put it in the kitchen. Do what makes your heart SING!!!! Your paintings are lovely... do you paint on "items"? Like boxes or small wood pieces, wouldn't they be easier to ship? Just a thought. I have a 20 year old granddaughter that sounds just like your daughter...she came in yesterday and pilfered through all the "change" spots...left a happy girl. Not to mention the nervous breakdowns. lol
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend... keep sharing. Thanks for being my new friend. xoso Sandy O
I think it would look lovely over the table!
ReplyDeleteI think the kitchen, but...heads? smashed? bumps? My four boys are all well over 6'5" and this would never EVER work in my kitchen! Do you have high ceilings? I see those amazing pictures all the time of vaulted ceiling kitchens with multiple chandeliers hanging over kitchen islands, and I just drool!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first visit to your blog, and WOW WEE, it so much fun looking at all your gorgeous interiors!
I'm probably way late but I just found your blog via Amy @ Maison Decor. I really love that chandy over your table it just speaks to me there. I also love the round backed chairs & if I could figure out an inexpensive way to get them from NC to TX I'd be begging & bribing you lol. Love your blog Thanks
