Pretty Roses and Neat Panorama View ...

How can i resist showing you guys these voluptuous, tender, little  pink roses from my yard...

I know it's corny and hokey and all that
but i think i'm gonna name my house

"Rosebud Cottage"

because there are roses everywhere right now!

"abraham darby"

Sometimes i just look at all this gorgeousness, and can't believe it's in my very own yard

"Abraham Darby"

I've missed alot of your posts lately, it's been really busy everywhere in life right now, i plan to catch up on you guys soon....

Sweet "Pearly Gates"  again

Little view of the rose arbor in the daytime...

"New Dawn"
a sturdy prolific little climber

"Rosebud Cottage" with the last light of the sun glowing on the pink front door

Ok.... thanks to a person younger than me,
(which is just about everyone now)
who knows about iphone apps like she was genetically engineered with a computer chip app in her brain
I learned about a cool app for your iphone that does panaroma views...
check it out

 living room shot without panorama

ok, now with panorama
and a little touch of mr. fractured's gray hair on the left
i haven't quite mastered it all yet

the app is called "Photosynth"
i think it costs like a dollar
and you just move the camera around the room and it snaps photos as needed to create the panaroma

and next to last for this post
here is another pretty picture,  just for fun...

i love this little thrift store lace blousy thing, so i drape it all over everything and take pictures of it
the blouse is on an old green velvet sofa from the thrift store
with some lace also from the thrift store...
thrift store, thrift store, thrift store
did i just say thrift store like 50 times?!

anyway, it's all from the guess what ?

and last, but most certainly not least,
i'll leave you with this sign posted on the window at my favorite little country convenience store where i go and buy my Bud Light...
is it just me... or is this funny

i love country stores

...the end...

  2. Hey beautiful! :)
I just love your front door...I know I've said it before, but I do!
Your roses are lovely and I think Rosebud Cottage is the perfect name for your house. My mom named her house Thimble Cottage, because she sews and her house is def a cottage..so pink, sweet and cottagey! (is that a word?) :)
I don't have that app, and I'm def going to get it! I love that!
The sign is precious at the little store. :)
Hope you're having a wonderful week!

I want to paint my house white with a pink door.:) The new app you have is great--I will have to tell my daughter about it. I am so in love with that rose painting you did. I think it looks awesome in your house. The sign at the grocery store is funny...I am not sure I know the difference between profanity, cussing , and swearing. :) I hope you have a lovely week!

And your new app for your camera is awesome, and only a $1.00! doesn't get any better than that. The pictures are wonderful in panaoramic view. Your reference to Bud Lite is cool too. A beer DH and I both enjoy here in WI. See you on Pinterest..

  18. I think you have to drop the f bomb in the store and see if they really have a strict policy~...just kiddin'!! Love those Abraham DArby roses...I think they are my favorites, and the Cecille Brunner one, its amazing too! I planted White Dawn climber, I wanted Eden Dawn, but they didn't have it...and I don't have my arbor yet, and may not get one this year, so when it starts scrambling out tall and long I hope to train it along the rock wall....you don't have to make excuses to me about being busy....I understand.

  21. Cindy don't you just love Pandora. I'm a little slow when it comes to the newest thing, my kids have been listening to Pandora forever and I finally asked what it was! Now thats all I listen to while painting. My favorite is a station I made by typing in Bon Iver...you will like it! Another is Rachel Portman because I love romantic soundtrack music. Your roses are beautiful!!! Mine are not blooming as profusely as yours yet. My favorite photo is the view of your living room of your wee fireplace and rose painting and opened front pink door! And you are not silly to name your home Rosebud Cottage. Mine is named Sea Cottage. My last home was named Rose Cottage but I did not blog then. I like Rosebud better. I always called my daughter Holly rosebud when she was little. Can't wait to see your dreamy outdoor bed. Isn't it fun!!! ox Kerrie

Oh and as for a frame...I'm keeping an eye out for the perfect chippy white one. I love it the way it is too, so who knows I may just leave it alone. Either way, it's my most favorite piece of artwork in my house!
    Love you dearly my friend!
