There is a shop where I live that has the most amazing vintage, shabby chic, gorgeous and EXPENSIVE stuff. One year, the owner took these tall glass containers in different heights, and filled them with peppermints and put them right smack in the middle of a farmhouse table, and it looked phenominal! Just sparkled with the glass and the red pepperments. I copied her with these glass containers you find at TJ Maxx and Marshalls all the time for $9.99 up to $12.99, and peppermints and ribbon from the Dollar Store... I'm sure hers cost alot, but mine sure didn't. The taller one's ( what do you call these things)??? are the most gorgeous of all... Makes a striking Christmas gift too.

Cindy, your blog is beautiful! I enjoyed looking around here tonight. Yes we certainly have the same little angel statue. Is your iron as well? Mine sits in the garden all Summer and is getting quite rusty. I just love him.
